DIY Eye Make Up Remover

posted by Annie Brown on Saturday, February 18, 2012

The last time I purchased eye make up remover it was around $6 for a little tiny bottle. But it works so well, I sucked it up. Well while attending a DIY workshop they gave us a sample of eye make up remover they had found the recipe on Pinterest.

Well I love the sample and it works really well. So off I was to make some of my own. I plan to make some more this weekend so my daughter can take some home with her after her visit.

1 cup water
1 1/2 tablespoons Tear Free Baby Shampoo
1/8 teaspoon Baby Oil

Directions:
Add all ingredients into a small bowl and stir. (I make it right in a measuring cup and it makes it easier to pour into my bottle)
Shake before every use.

Cost: Less than 0.50 cents
Pin It

Who knew you could make everything yourself? I don't wear eye makeup but good to know!

Believe it or not, I've had my fair share of eye makeup on. Halloween is my favorite time of year and dressing like a lady was very popular for a couple years..... :)

@Kathleen (aka Callista)
I don't wear a lot of eye make up but as a mom of teenaged girls well this has saved some $$.

Thanks so much for your comment.. I try to cut costs in the most efficient way possible with things that work.
@Canadian Dad
Well now you are in business... you can make some up to remove your Halloween make up! :)
