An Intimate, emotional and real look in to the lives of @RascalFlatts
As a fan of country music and of Rascal Flatts, I was very excited to be invited to review Rascal Flatts One Night Only ‘Changed’ Movie Theater Event Planned for Thursday, April 5th at a local theatre. This country power trio along with AEG Live and NCM Fathom put on a one night only north america only event that gave us an intimate, emotional and real look into the lives of Gary LeVox, Joe Don Ronney and Jay DeMarcus with never before seen access into both their family lives and performances.
I became a huge fan of Rascal Flatts when I heard the song My Wish, as a mother of a special needs daughter this song just spoke to me like songs don't normally do. My wish for her is that she becomes all she can be and that she knows that we love her more than life itself. Despite her disabilities she can still dream big and her dreams can come true. I think when music becomes personal it just brings you closer to the group singing the song. After viewing Changed on the big screen and hearing them say that they sing for the people and that they love hearing how their music and songs have effected people. It truly showed how real they are.
Rascal Flatts - CHANGED offered us footage from an intimate live performances at Franklin Theatre in Tennessee where they played some of their well known hits (Life is a Highway, Bless the Broken Road, What hurts the most, I won't let go) as well as some of their new songs from their new album Changed. My favourite songs from the new album were Changed, Come wake me up, Banjo and She's leaving .. okay, okay let's just face it after watching the movie theatre event my only disappointment was that their were no local stores open for me to pop in and get the album.
The movie theatre event offered a behind the scenes footage of the band with their families, playing with their children and a true emotional side to them that you don't get to see on stage. I was very impressed with the raw emotions of Rascal Flatts displayed on the screen for us. It really made us feel like we were a part of their life and not just viewing it on a screen. I am sorry this event was not something all their fans got to see because it definitely was worth watching.
Now Rascal Flatts fans can enter to win a trip and tickets to a concert (yes this is open to Canada & USA both)
I want to thank One2One Network and Fathom Events for allowing me to spend some time with my daughter and review this event that was thoroughly enjoyed by all in the theatre. Also a thank you to Chris Harding from BX93 for giving me a little more background on the band. It was a pleasure meeting and talking to you at the event last night. Oh thanks BX93 for some swag my daughter is loving it!
“Disclosure – I received compensation in the form of tickets to the event for my review. The opinions on this blog are 100% my own."
