Sifteo Cubes - New Era in Handheld Gaming Review {#Giveway}

This is definitely the generation of electronic gaming. We have a few different electronic games in our house and my kids love playing them. When I saw the new Sifteo Cubes this year I just knew my daughter would love to get her hands on these.

Sifteo cubes are a new approach to handheld gaming with three touchscreen cubes that join together wirelessly to enhance your gaming experience.

About Sifteo Cubes - The basic set comes with three cubes and a rectangular console. a USB cable (to connect to your computer), and all of the necessary batteries. The set retails for $129.95 and includes four pre-installed games along with a free download for a fifth game and you are able to purchase additional games to download to the cubes via USB cable. You can also purchase additional cubes for your system – for up to 20 cubes.

Sifteo Cubes is an interactive experience that allows you to tilt, flip, shake, neighbor and press every which way. The cubes came with some included games which are Chroma Splash, Cube Buddies, Code Cracker, and Word Caravan.

My thoughts - My favourite game to play was Chroma Splash where you match up the colored dots (shown on the box above). I love the portability of this game it is small enough to just be put into the carry bag and tossed in my purse for any of our travels. I have taken a photo of the sifteo cubes in their carry bag next to my Samsung Galaxy S3 so it can give you the idea of how small this game packs up to travel with you. We even take it to restaurants as it helps pass the time before the food arrives for my daughter and the rest of the family too.
