The lemonade is poured and it is time to put my feet up and watch one of my favourite shows on Netflix. It is not a surprise that I love NASCAR and football. I do remember catching some of the episodes here and there but found that they were always changing when the show was on so it was hard to keep up with it. 

Well thanks to Netflix I can watch my favourite football tv show, Friday Night Lights, every time I get chance. Whether it is in the evening relaxing or taking a break from my daily schedule for me there is nothing like a good football movie or in this case TV Show. 

Friday Night Lights takes place in small town Texas and follows a highschool football team. The show offers what a lot of other shows don't or so I find anyway. It offers a lot of optimism. I find it a breathe of fresh air from the shows Breaking Bad and Mad Men. 

The football games brings us to the town of  Dillon, Texas where Eric Taylor is the head coach of the high school football team. The show centers around Eric Taylor and his wife Tami as well as the football team players and friends. I love how real the relationship is between Eric and Tami - it does not portray a perfect marriage and family life their relationship is very real with all the bumps and bruises included. 

So why not kick your feet up and check out the line up on netflix to enjoy some tv once the kids are in bed.
