How can it already be August!!!! August is the perfect time to start crossing things off your summer bucket list that you haven't gotten around to yet, whether it is camping, hiking, geocaching or taking a day trip to explore a new place. This month Netflix has put together a list of titles to help get your family inspired to take full advantage of the dog days of summer.

After watching National Treasure with the family we sat down to plot how to find our own little treasures by geocaching in our area. If you having been geocaching I highly recommend it it is a great family activity that involved finding geocaches and sometimes involves hiking in different areas and experiencing new things. Best part is that it is a free activity to do with your family minus your gas to get to the various destinations where the hidden treasures are.
