Life lessons from a movie on Netflix #StreamTeam

I sat down with my daughter to watch the movie Radio. Radio is based on true story. The story is a heartwarming tale about inclusion I think this a great movie for older children over the age of 8 I think that younger than that they wouldn't get the movie at all as far as life lessons go.

The movie delivers a believable portrayal of a community accepting a person with a disability. The greatest lesson you learn from this movie is that every should be accepted for who they are no matter their abilities. We should love everyone unconditionally just because they are a fellow human being.

There are many movies playing on Netflix this month that can teach everything from ABC's and 123's to life lessons as described above with the movie Radio. I thought I would mention a few to get you started this month.

Do you use movies or tv shows to help teach your children? And if you do what movies or tv shows have you found beneficial for teaching your children?
