Menu Planning Monday - June 8, 2015
The best way to make sure we stay on track with our eating and save money in the process is to menu plan. If I have a menu planned for the week there is no need to eat out and it allows us to use up the food that I purchased for the week without it spoiling.
Monday - Ranch Chicken Kabobs, Potato Wedges, Cucumber/Tomato Salad
Tuesday - Pasta, Salad, Garlic Bread
Wednesday - Pork Tenderloin, Scalloped Potatoes, Veggies
Thursday - BBQ, Baked Potatoes, Grilled Veggies
Friday - HM Pizza, Celery and Carrot Sticks
Saturday - Lasagne, Salad
Sunday - BBQ, Grilled Veggies, Rice
As you can see with my menu plan we stay away from anything out of a box. This is not a new way of eating for us this is just how we have always eaten. Even growing up my parents avoided buying things pre-made and always turned to home cooked meals even though my mom and dad both worked full time outside of the home. It is a value I am so glad that they instilled in me when I was young.
