Do you have your favourite one pan meals? Is there something that everyone always requests to be on your menu. This week we use Shopease Foods Pork Chops to create our Skillet Meal. I love being able to cook our dinner in just one pot that makes clean-up a whole lot easier. That translates to more time with your family and less time in the kitchen.

Pork Chop and Cabbage Skillet

2 Large Pork Chops (or 4 small ones)
Salt and Pepper to taste
1 TBSP Olive Oil
1 Strip Bacon, cut fine
1 lb Potatoes, diced to bite size
2 TBSPS Apple Cider Vinegar
2 Medium Apples, sliced thinly
1 Clove Garlic, minced
4 Cups Cabbage, thinly sliced
1 Cup Chicken Broth
1 TBSP Parsley

DIRECTIONS:

Heat large skillet to medium adding oil and then pork chops that have been salt and peppered to your taste to cook a bit and brown.
Once pork chops are browned remove onto a plate and reserve until later.
Add bacon and potatoes to skillet. Cook covered for about 10 minutes or until potatoes are softened.
Add vinegar and scrape up any brown bits on the bottom of the skillet.
Stir in cabbage, apples and garlic. Cook covered 3 to 4 minutes.
Increase heat to medium-high. Stir in broth. Cover and cook for 4 to 6 minutes or until potatoes are almost tender. Return pork chops to skillet and cook covered for 3 to 4 minutes or until pork chops are cooked through.
Sprinkle with parsley.
