CRISPY BUTTERMILK PORK CHOPS (Video Included) #WhatsCookingWednesday
This week in the kitchen I am making my marinated buttermilk pork chops. Everyone in the family loves the crispy coating on the pork chops. My grandmother used to make these pork chops often because she knew it was a hit with everyone that tried them.I have so many fond memories of my grandmother in the kitchen cooking away for the whole family. I am not sure what she would think of the idea of having my meat delivered to my door and not choosing every cut on its own at the store. I know she would love the product from Shopease Foods because they use nothing but 100% Canadian Natural Meats, free from additives, fillers and preservatives.
Time to share with all of you our Crispy Buttermilk Pork Chops. I hope your family enjoys them as much as our family does.
3 Boneless Pork Chops
1 1/2 Cups Buttermilk
1/2 tsp Salt
2 Cloves of Garlic, minced
1 1/2 Cups Bread Crumbs
3 TBSP Parsley
2 TBSP Olive Oil
1. Combine buttermilk, salt and garlic in a bowl. Put pork chops in a resealable bag or shallow bowl. Add buttermilk to bag or bowl and make sure pork chops are fully submerged.
2. In another bowl combine breadcrumbs and parsley. One pork chop at a time remove from buttermilk and put into breadcrumb mixture.
3. Add one 1 TBSP Olive Oil into pan and heat at medium heat. Add pork chops to heated pan and cook for about 8 minutes on each side or until done.
What meal does everyone in your family like?
