If you follow my blog you know that I like to use up all our leftovers and not throw anything out because that is wasteful in my opinion. Generally speaking we do eat a lot of our leftovers up for lunch the next day but sometimes there is just to many leftovers to eat up that way and I find a creative way to use up the same meat later in the week. This is definitely the case with my Ham & Broccoli Pasta Bake

We got a ham from Shopease Foods and I love that it is not a salty ham. Do you have a recipe you use for leftover ham? Usually we make pizza with the leftover ham but this time I thought I would make a casserole.

3 Cups Pasta
4 Cups Broccoli
3 TBSP Butter
2 TBSP Flour
2 Cups Milk
2 Cups Cheese, grated
1/4 Cup Parmesan Cheese
2 Cups Ham, diced
Bread Crumbs

Preheat oven to 350*

Cook pasta in large saucepan as directed on package, omitting salt and adding broccoli to the boiling water for the last 2 min. of the pasta cooking time.

Meanwhile, melt butter in large saucepan on low heat. Stir in flour; cook and stir 2 min. or until bubbly. Gradually stir in milk; bring to boil on medium heat, stirring constantly. Cook on low heat until thickened, stirring constantly. Add cheeses until melted.
Drain pasta mixture, return to pan. Stir in cheese sauce and ham - spoon into greased casserole dish.

Bake 20 min. or until heated through.
