Homemade Meatballs (Video Included) | What's Cooking Wednesday?
Who has time to waste in the kitchen night after night making homemade meals for your family. I know my life is very busy and I do not have that kind of time on my hands that is why when I make a meal I try to get more than one meal out of it.
When I make meatballs which are a family favourite in my house I make sure I prep enough for at least one extra meal so that it can be in the freezer and brought out at a moments notice and be made into something amazing for dinner.
Scooping my meatballs with a cookie scoop so they are all the same size.
The meatballs have finished cooking and now they are just cooling off so I can bag them for the freezer for another meal the following week.
Homemade Meatballs - Printable Version
3 lbs Ground Meat (I used pork)
1 Large Onion Diced
1 tbsp MincedGarlic
1 Large Onion Diced
1 tbsp MincedGarlic
1/3 cup Parmesan Cheese
1 cup Bread Crumbs
4 eggs
1 tsp Oregano
1/2 cup Parsley
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Mix all of the ingredients in a bowl. I find it easier to just mix it with my hands to make sure it is well incorporated.
Shape into small meatballs and place on a baking sheet. I lined my baking sheet with parchment paper for easier and quicker clean up. I also used my cookie scoop to make the meatballs all the same size.
Once assembled place meatballs in over and cook for 25 to 30 minutes.
I made two batches of meatballs so once they were cooked I put them in a freezer bag to freeze for another meal.
