Last week went by so quickly and we so many last minute changes to our schedule it was more of a fly by the seat of your pants kind of week. My oldest daughter came home to attend her best friend's husband funeral. My heart is still breaking for her and the family. 

This week it is time to get back on schedule with my menu planning and stick to my budget no matter what. I can not have another week like last week, all meals need to be made at home and I need to keep to my budget. After doing a lot of research on meal budgeting I came across more than one article that said $100/person/month was a good amount to spend so for our family that means $300/month which is about $100 more a month that I was budgeting before. This should be easy enough to stick to with my family. I need to keep my eyes peeled for chicken on sale!
