BBQ Chicken Sauce
(video Included) #WhatsCookingWednesday
The grill is busy working overtime this time of year with the beautiful weather we have. My husband Rob makes a really awesome BBQ Sauce to put on our chicken that everyone in the family just loves. He was kind enough to share the recipe with all my readers to enjoy.
We have only used this recipe on Chicken because mainly that is what we cook in this house. Lord help us if the price of chicken starts to increase the way beef has over the last few years. So I am not sure how the sauce will do on anything but chicken. Here's the recipe -
2 clove Garlic
2 tsp Butter
3/4 cup Ketchup
1/4 cup Brown Sugar
2 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
1/2 tbsp Celery Salt
1 tbsp Prepared Mustard
In a saucepan, saute garlic in butter until tender.
Add the next 6 ingredients.
Bring to a boil, stir constantly.
Remove from heat and set aside.
Let sit for about 15 minutes before using on Chicken.
We make a full batch as listed above and put the extra in the fridge to us over a course of a few weeks.
